1. Who we are
YourWeddingQR (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a wedding-keepsake studio operating from Cyprus. For any privacy matter you can contact us at hello@yourweddingqr.com. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
- Identity details you provide: bride and groom names, wedding date, venue.
- Contact details: email, phone number, Instagram / WhatsApp handles.
- Links you choose to share: Google Drive, Dropbox, wedding website.
- Free-text notes or special requests you submit.
- Payment confirmations from our payment processor (we never store card numbers).
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser) from our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
3. Why we use it
- To generate your wedding QR and hand-design your final keepsake.
- To deliver the final design to you by email.
- To reply to enquiries and partner applications.
- To process payments and issue receipts.
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal bases are the performance of our contract with you, your consent (for optional channels), and our legitimate interest in running and improving our studio.
4. Who we share it with
We only share data with the processors that help us operate the service: our cloud database and storage provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor (Stripe). Each processor is bound by data-processing terms and appropriate safeguards for any international transfer.
5. How long we keep it
Submission and delivery data is kept for up to 24 months after your wedding to support reprints and after-care. Invoicing data is kept for the period required by applicable tax law. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@yourweddingqr.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus.
7. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies to keep the site working. If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent before they are set.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
